The 55-year-old Benkó Dixieland Band offers a new exciting jazz treat to all those who wish to see the old year out with them in a concert at the Budapest Convention Centre, on Saturday, 29th December 2012, at 19.30. Audiences may listen to Benkós’ familiar arrangements, excerpts from the Benkó Christmas Mass and titbits of their latest numbers presented at their tour of the Far East.  The band will revive some interesting moments of their long history and play some items of the greatest Benkó hits on the Internet page of You Tube. People who include into their Christmas cultural programme this concert, which has become a decade-long tradition by now, will definitely have a relaxed two-hour high-standard entertainment.
